Rose Grace Murphy, 87, passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2015. Born in Chicago on October 7, 1928, Rose was the widow of Joseph R. Murphy and the mother of Joseph J. Murphy. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph; and is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Azzarello, as well as several nieces and nephews: Linda Hecker (Steve), Janet Bauer (James), Steven Azzarello (Chris), Carol Keur (Jay); Joan Larsen (Mark), Joe Azzarello (Cathy) and Ellen Azzarello. Honorary pallbearers will be Alice Alessio, Louanna Kaldy, Lillian Oliver, Marty Perry, Ann Hillard, Linda Thomas, and Carol Stamper. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in the Good Shepard Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2015, followed by interment in the Frankfort Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Rose leaves behind her gratitude to Kay Kennedy and Bill and Elaine Johnson for all of their loving care and assistance. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Good Shepherd church.
